The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys. Great!

(Good thread. You can post album covers, discuss albums, rate albums, trash albums, do whatever you want).

Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden

I've known them for a long time but got into them only recently.
This album was so relaxing that I knew I just had to get it
(I bought the CD after downloading it).
The album is a bit short but overall a great, chilling musical journey.
Also, it has some live "vibe", sounds as if the band are playing in the room. Sometimes it's extremely quiet, then several instruments kick in really loudly.
The other two albums I'm going to buy will most probably be
It's My Life and The Colour of Spring. Really great band, though I'm not too impressed by the first album and the last one is a bit too artsy for me (might grow on me though).

Mark Hollis's solo album sounds cool too, but I'm yet to give it a proper listen.

Well you don't have to write an essay on it, just be brief and to the point. I heard JMM likes that album, he used to talk about it a lot.

my last album:

pink moon - nick drake

idk my thoughts on it are that it is flawlessly great, every track, and that it makes me feel like life sucks but it doesn't matter. it's a cool emo feeling. i think i just gave up on life omg

I wrote an essay on it because I wanted to.
And yes, Laughing Stock might grow on me later on.

Ben Kweller - Sha Sha

When I was in my prime teenage years I used to love this album. It's refreshing catching up on long lost choons.

Last 3 albums I listened to:

The Cure - Seventeen seconds: Pretty good but too many instrumentals. 'In your house' is an amazing song.

U2 - Boy: I like to listen to old albums by popular artists 'cause I like how punky and raw they used to sound.

Jay-z - Reasonable Doubt: Jay-z's got skills, man!
