Only 2: English and some Italian.

Why don't people in the US learn as many languages as in other countries?

Simple: 'cos they know that their mother language is spoken all over the world :-)

ive wanted to do it for as long as i can remember, but i'm not sure. i'll probably be something nerdy like a physicist 8)
