because now i can. kinda the same reason i carry 200 albums with me

Except you can play the songs on shuffle, but you can't really read one page of a book, then open another book and read another page, then read a third page from a third book, etc. etc. silly.

erm...yes you can...you just....push some...very important buttons.

I don't want traditional books to be vanished either BTW,
books - and I'm gonna quote myself here - "have souls" as I put it some time ago...I love the way their cover get crumpled, I love their smell, the sound of the pages...but it would be really hypocritical of me not to realize how useful e-book readers can be when I just wanna try something out I don't reall mean to buy...When I can carry several books with me while travelling to some place far without actually carrying the heavy weight. Also, it's really comfy to be able to change the font size, and holding a kindle is much easier than holding game of thrones for hours.

Having said that I'll always buy real books written by authors I really love and respect.

i don't even own a kindle or pdf reader, only physical books (hard cover mostly ;) ) but
do you actually not see the perks of carrying an entire library compressed into a tiny, slim electronic device? and the possibility to acquire like, any book with a couple of clicks whenever you feel like it?

Good question. I hardly ever listen to them.
I have one though: Siddharta by Herman Hesse read out loud by an actor. It's really amazing, but I've never finished it. Maybe I should!

It's cool you broguht that up.

I figure they are good for long travel (in the car or whatever means you're traveling by). Or, sometimes it's nice laying outside in the sun with your eyes closed listening to a story! I like a little audiobook from time to time.

How very philosophical of you, listening to that  what was the actor's voice like? See, the voice needs to fit the tone and overall feeling of the writing. Tis essential!

why would you read a book on your ePad when you can just download the film and watch that?
