If there was some sort of notification of private messages thanks in advance for not being able to do anything about it.

'Personal Details' --> 'Notify me by email if I receive a Private Message' (presuming your email address is up-to-date).

That's the only way I know... you're welcome for my uselessness.

It would be useful if I got a special inet membership, including the prerogative to hassle clr and other dorks. :d

 Wonsaponatime you are not useless! And, poopstah, I've got the same problem with PM's not showing up. Look at it in a positive light. It's almost exciting when you go into the inbox and find a new message out of nowhere!

I've only had a problem with PM's not showing up once. I've since developed a habit (more like an OCD) of checking them when I first sign in. I guess there's a certain criteria for them not to work but I haven't figured out what it is yet.

On a related note: I discovered a while back you can delete your sent items. You can do this by kindly asking the recipients to delete them from their inbox. (Seriously, that's how it's done.)

I usually get an email saying I've recieved a pm, so unless you don't check your emails occasionally, it works!
