Looking Back at DBTT

Oasis fan since spring 94. Sorry, DBTT is their worst album and by a large margin. Some good tracks, but at least half aren't very good. The Meaning of Soul a "terrific b-side?" The Oasis b-sides from years past have been way better than that garbage.

Also, LDSMD is by far Oasis' worst single. The only Oasis release I ever didn't buy because it's so bad.

And I friggin' love Oasis, so don't go there.

Agreed. POTQ is one of the highlights on DBTT.

DBTT the truth is an excellent record and fine the way it is! Make up your own CD with you tracklisting and pretend that is really the album and then ypu can easily please yourself. The time it takes you to write your lame fairy tale post you could have made your own cd with your fairytale tracklisting.

Like I said earlier in this thread:

"The Magic Can't Be Right" - written by Noel. First mentioned in an October 2002 interview by Noel as "sounding like The Rolling Stones" and being "pretty good."

That is all we know about the track. Noel talked about it during a fan Q&A in Seattle (2005). Said similar things to what was written above.

Cheers for that. Wonder if it will ever make the cut then.
