Andy and Gem aren't exactly "session musicians" cos they have made whole albums themselves, with their other bands, so they understand the process of writing, recording and producing entire albums. I always felt that they had to write within the Oasis idiom over the years, which may have held them back a bit. I mean, Oasis were never gonna do a song like Vapour Trail or Birdman, which are two Ride classics IMHO. I haven't heard much Heavy Stereo, but they were OK, pretty middle of the road, but I'd say they have a fair bash of making a good album, they've a good producer, Liam can still do it in the studio (live is another story) and they are talented musicians from an instrument-playing point of view. So I'm hopeful at least.

Oasis were of a time, Beady Eye will not last or make it big.
A new band formed by guys in their 40's is not gonna be a massive band are they cos it's mostly young people who latch onto a band and make them big.

I'll give them a chance even though i think Liam is a 1st class p***k but nothing and no-one will ever come close to Oasis in their heyday, not in my lifetime anyway.

Well, I am so excited to listen to their new songs, and Noel playing too.

Because I miss some Gallagher music!

Come on guys! :p
Thank you for being there.

I need a Gallagher Fix, too. I don't care if it's BDI or The Rain.
