so it sounds like a song oasis would write?

To me it sounds like the sort of song you would see a poor Oasis wannabe band performing in the local pub, or indeed the real Oasis post 1997.

I was well roasting Beady Eye when "Bring the Light" came out, but then the LP came out and my opinion changed. They are a solid band and the album is twice as better than Dig Out your Soul.

No doubt Noel's album will be bore-fest acoustic sessions with his mate Weller.

If you actually listen to it (full volume) & take away your analytical/critical head, then you will be in agreement......obviously you'll never admit this, but deep down you will think it's what Oasis lacked in their latter Albums.

This is probably the fairest description of Beady Eye, IMO

If it were an oasis record, it would be their weakest. Its disjointed the way Heathen Chemistry felt like a collection of tunes rather than an album but that LP had some absolute classics on it. DGSS is ok, but the hype seems to be a world desperate for another oasis record and I can't say I blame em.

If the album was 8 tracks (aside from the whinging going on for releasing a 35 minute record) it would be a really solid debut.

Millionaire
The Roller
For Anyone
Kill For A Dream
Wigwam
The Beat Goes On
The Morning Son
The World Outside My Room

If Bring the Light were an instrumental and only had the birds singing on the back end, it would be really cool and would make a great opener. I am surprised that so many people belong to the oasis forum and come on here to slag off the band. Feel like there might be other sites they could find some co-conspirators.
