There's a new record on the way! Beady Eye returned to the studio today to begin work on their follow-up album to 2011's "Different Gear, Still Speeding".

Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio, Jane's Addiction and Yeah Yeah Yeah's amongst others) is on board to produce the as yet untitled album which is scheduled for release in 2013. Watch this space for more info...

I signed up to have a giggle because I remember Gallagher saying that Oasis was going to be bigger than the Beatles and at the Brit awards that Michael Hutchens was a has been. INXS's music has held up much better than Oasis' so I wonder who the has been is now?

Bands/artists who have sold more records than Oasis - The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Elton John, Led Zep, Queen, Pink Floyd, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Whitney Houston, BeeGees, AbbA, U2, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, Aerosmith, Genesis, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Backstreet Boys, Donna Summer, Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Metallica, Britney Spears, Rod Stewart, Prince. Shall I go on? Oasis was pathetic and overrated when they were popular and are even more so now. The Beatles have sold twice as many albums since they broke up as Oasis has sold in it's entire pathetic existence. Oh and suicide jokes aren't funny.
