Liam more 'hated than Saddam'

Postby Podesta » 04 Aug 2010, 20:31

Oasis star Liam Gallagher is more hated and feared than Saddam Hussein, according to Madame Tussauds' annual popularity poll.
The singer, who came third, was beaten only by Germany's wartime Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, who came first, and former Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic.

Liam more 'hated than Saddam'

Up-to-date story, that. Friday, 5 January, 2001.

Gallagher's notoriety may have been fuelled by his recent slanging matches with singer Robbie Williams, when he dedicated his Q award to the former Take That star for being "queer".

But Gallagher's award did not tarnish the reputation of his rival Robbie Williams, whose waxwork won three categories in the votes cast by more than 800 Tussauds visitors last year.

In other words, it was Robbie Williams fans voting.

no offence to the band or anything, but liam is a bit of an ass. Noel's just as good of a singer (he sung live on howard stern because liam was off having a fit), and Noel does write most of the stuff... so i just don't understand why liam has such a bad attitude. he isn't really needed in the band. so.. if they were to get back together, he should think about that, and know he's replaceable... by his brother.

talent wise, noel can sound exactly like liam if he wanted, and he's the sole creative figure of the band, seeing that he writes the music and most/all of the lyrics.
