This post isn't really anything special, no idea if any of the band look at this forum, but just to say a massive thank you to the band who influenced my dad and myself greatly.
My dad passed away 7 weeks ago. But he passed having known truly great bands. And Oasis being one of the faves.
He loved playing the riffs on his guitar.
We played 'don't go away' at the funeral.

So yeah, all in all, Oasis were one of the bands that made my dad who he was and I thank them for that.
Their music, and his memory, will stand the test of time.

Take care leanne. Dont go away is a beautiful song. When my Mum died we read out the words to the Masterplan and while she was dying my neice played wonderwall on her guitar. Songs can help the grieving process

I've found a lot of comfort in alot of the bands music, and hope other people do too

this post speaks for us all they was'nt jst a band music does something to you helps you heals you makes u smile makes u laugh makes you cry it touches your soul.OASIS did all that and more thank you x
