BOUGHT AN EPIPHONE RIVIERA....BUT!!!!!!!

Postby stevo-smfc@hotmail.com » 18 Sep 2009, 23:05

SHOULD I CHANGE THE STOCK FULL SIZE EPIPHONE HUMBUCKERS WITH SEYMOUR DUNCAN FULL SIZE HUMBUCKERS.

ALSO,WOULD MINI HUMBUCKERS OR FULL SIZE HUMBUCKERS BE BETTER FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL BE PLAYING MUSIC SUCH AS.....

OASIS,THE WHO,THE BEATLES,KASABIAN,LED ZEPELLIN,JIMI HENDRIX,THE SMITHS AND THE STONE ROSES.

ADVICE.

I have never changed pick ups on my guitar so iam easy talking here.
But i think you should keep full size humbuckers it will cover alot of the music you wanna play , dont expect any guitar to nail the sound of oasis , the who , beatles , led zeppeling , hendrix and the stone roses in one.

That was something I tried to do with the first post actually. But I have serious trouble trying to post photos on the internet.I had about 6 of them.Instead I'll show you these pics, there from a guy who is selling a Rviera on ebay, its identical to mine.

In terms of priority it has went way ahead of my Sheraton,Yamaha acoustic and Les Paul.

For thos of you interested ther is another guy selling his Riviera, exactly the same as the one pictured except it is slightly more relicd.

Starting bid is £295 I think.

Very nice guitar.

I've always liked the frequensator tailpiece on the Riviera.

Thought about buying a cherry Casino & replacing the trapeze tailpiece with a frequensator tailpiece, just like the 60's Casinos.

As for the pickups, I would leave the stock pickups unless there's a fault with them.
