Unless its an old one like the ones Noel used to use i'd avoid them.

In the end i bought a Yamaha FG720s, it sounds great specially for Oasis songs, heres the link.

Hope that helps

no the ej200s are terrible, but the hummingbirds are great guitars.

shame though, because the ej200's look great.

I've just bought this one:

Very good guitar. Highly recommendable.

By the way, I've also bought this one (was my "Guitar shopping day"):

I got a couple of Gibson minihumbuckers for a very reasonable price (considering the country I live in).

Question about Acoustic guitar

Postby NealK » 20 Feb 2010, 09:09

Hello peeps,
Just thought I would throw my pennies worth into the hat. I looked around for ages to find an acoustic I liked. I tried the ej200 but it didnt suit my style,as I have smallish hands. I was gutted as I really love the look and tone. I tried yamahas and takamines. I was really spoilt for choice, in the end i settled on a takamine.
I bought it from a seller in the states and got a nice hard case thrown in too. Even after shipping and import taxes I saved a few quid on uk prices. It is a dream to play, after changing the string from 11's to 9's. I really love it and look forward to picking it up.
So the message is really shop around and find one that suits you rather than going for pure aesthetics or famous ownership. Either way it doesn't matter as long as you like playing it and have hours of enjoyment from it. Don't be lulled into Noel ownership factors. Peace.

I bought a PR5EEB Epiphone Ebony n Gold
I saw it on TradeMe in NZ n fell in luv with it
It has almost the same sound to Noels Ej200
I am so pleased with it so I would suggest that one
