Don't go cheap!!! Cheap cables will crackle, pick up radio interference and suck the tone right out of your set-up. That said, spending a s**t tonne of money on top of the line cables is just throwing your money away.

I guess it won't be long now, though that should probably go in the Band section.

Noel probably spends more money on cables than you did on your guitar so don't worry about it too much; just don't go for the cheap ones, as googs has said.

Cables recomendation

I was surprised the other day by my cheap cable. When I bought my guitar a few years ago, the cable came with the guitar, but the salesman said that it's useless and he gave me a "better" one as a part of the bargain. It looks better, it's thicker etc, but I've always wondered why there's so much extra "noise" when I play. I even thought there might be something wrong with my pick ups. So, I tried the cheaper one and compared it to the other and I noticed there's much less noise when I use the cheap one. I wonder why's that.:?
