CHASING THE SUN: THE EXHIBITION

'Chasing The Sun: Oasis 1993 – 1997', an exhibition of rare and iconic photographs, artefacts and memorabilia from the early years of Oasis. Chasing The Sun covers the story of the band's three landmark albums – Definitely Maybe, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, and Be Here Now – along with many legendary Oasis gigs including London's 100 Club, Glastonbury Festival and their era-defining two night stand at Knebworth House.

The exhibition is curated by Lawrence Watson and includes previously unseen images from the photographers who had fly-on-the-wall access to the band. It is also a chance to see some of the iconic instruments played on the early albums (lent by the band members themselves), alongside vintage merchandise, artefacts from the album sleeves and some rarely seen early audio-visual content.

Opening 20 years to the day since the release of the debut Oasis single Supersonic, Chasing The Sun: Oasis 1993 – 1997 runs from April 11th – 22nd at Londonnewcastle Project Space and entry is free.
