Celebrating London’s playing fields and the impact of grassroots sport across the capital
This summer, as Oasis take over Wembley Stadium for seven unforgettable shows, we honour the unsung heroes of grassroots sport in London.
In partnership with Oasis, the London Playing Fields Foundation will recognise and reward volunteers, coaches, teachers and community leaders by inviting them to see the band live— celebrating their work, their stories and the fields that make it all happen.
Each show. One field. One community project. Real impact.
For each show LPFF will highlight the transformational work that takes place at one of their seven playing fields, celebrating the people who are the beating heart of grassroots sport:
- Show 1 – Douglas Eyre Sports Centre, Walthamstow
- Show 2 – Fairlop Oak Playing Field, Ilford
- Show 3 – London Marathon Playing Field, Redbridge
- Show 4 – London Marathon Playing Field, Greenford
- Show 5 – London Marathon Playing Field, Greenwich
- Show 6 – Peter May Sports Centre, Walthamstow
- Show 7 – Boston Manor Playing Field, Hounslow
